November Review: BUSY!!
- Nov 5, Sat: NCPR Annual Meeting and Education Day in Peoria: Kathy and Julie got the lowdown on Regional Plans for 2017 – and St Jamesers made up the majority of participants in the HB study session: looking good Ellie, Katie, Lucy, and Mackenzie!
- Nov 6, Sun, 6-8 p.m. General Meeting: Warrenville Fire Station 6-8pm Teachers: Thanks to all teachers and presenters!!
- Nov 12, Sat: CPR/First Aid Training at Warrenville Fire Station
Sincerely hope one of our trained first aiders is there the next time I fall off ? But I hope I still have legs!
- Nov 19, Sat: Mounted Instruction at Richardson Farm, noon to 4 p.m. Instructor Sarah Coltrin.
Fantastic session taking advantage of one of the last great days! Thanks to Art and Judy, Mackenzie and Virginia for hosting and Sarah, as always, for instructing!
Lovely gathering to end the year – and mark the “retirement” of Kathy Ciezlak as DC after 7 years in the leadership of the group. Lots of tears as we reflected on her impact on our group – which turned to smiles as awards were given out and we enjoyed a spirited gift exchange and delicious buffet! Thanks to Julie and Riley for organizing such a great venue – and to Emma, Lucy, Abby, Mackenzie and Mellissa for doing a great job of decorating! - Dates are out for National Pony Club Championships and FESTIVAL at the Kentucky Horse Park in 2017. This is a don’t miss opportunity to participate in competitions, lessons, clinics, HM tuition, etc. etc. all in one place. This only occurs once every three years – and it’s a GREAT experience!! Pencil it in – even if you don’t intend to ride, it’s a GREAT chance to participate in unmounted instruction from some of the top clinicians in the country.Block your calendars for: JULY 17TH – 24th!! And for the Regional Qualifiers June 14 – 18th at FVSA
