August Pony Club Activity Review

WHAT A STAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For the first time in a VERY long time we have a B Certification PASS!!!!!!!!

Sarah Coltrin , and her beloved Exotic Coffee or ‘TINY’ ROCKED the Lakeshore Region Certification to pass their B with flying colors. 6 candidates at that Certification, she was the only PASS! These Upper Levels are not for the faint of heart. This is a HUGE achievement and recognition of years of hard work and dedication – made all the sweeter by the fact that Sarah brought Tiny along totally on her own (the first time I saw them Tiny was doing her best to scrape Sarah off on the side of an arena with HUGE airborne bucks).

Sarah owns and operates Iron Rose Forge, and is getting established as a trainer of merit in the region.

We all salute you Sarah – and are proud you are a ST Jameser!!

Champs East

Sammi had great fun at Champs East held at the luxurious Tyron Equestrian Center : they did extremely well – and had tons of fun!

Champs Central

Katie (EVENTING), Mackenzie, Mellissa and Abby (TETRATHLON) and Virginia (SHOW JUMP) had heaps of fun at Champs East held at Catalpa and the Iowa Equestrian Center: ribbons and silver abounded! Spot SUZANNE HEALY in this picture: she was on one of our Tetrathlon scramble teams, and really did well. She is an active WDP PC member – but decided we are so much fun she has joined St James and is now a dual club member – welcome Suzanne!

Olympic BBQ

Thanks go out to the Cournaya family for holding our Summer Olympics BBQ : great to be able to watch the horse events with friends !
